- 18ct Rose Gold Vermeil on Sterling Silver (3 Microns)
- Available in Various Sizes
- 9mm Rose Quartz Stone
- Vermeil Finish - With vermeil jewellery, the base metal used has to be sterling silver, which is much better for those who have skin allergies to other base metals. The silver is then gold-plated, but with a thicker coating, often as much as 50% thicker than a traditional gold-plated piece. While less expensive than solid gold jewellery, using this technique is still more expensive than either gold-plated or gold-filled, as the price of gold and sterling silver brings the cost up a bit.
Rose Quartz Ring
Silver & gold are the most malleable of all metals, we recommend that you remove your jewellery when sleeping, or during any strenuous activity. Delicate pieces can easily be bent and lose their shape if not treated with care.
Silver will tarnish, turning black when it meets sulphur or hydrogen, this can simply be in the air. It can easily be polished with a polishing cloth.
Do not wear jewellery while in a pool or hot tub as the chlorine in the water can damage various gemstones and metals, including gold. To clean gold vermeil jewellery, buff very gently with a soft, dry, 100% cotton cloth or a microfiber cloth. Never use chemical cleaners.
Stones should be cleaned with a moist cloth and kept away from contact with cosmetics such as hairspray, make-up and perfume. Preserve the radiance of pearls by avoiding contact with cosmetics. We recommend removing pearl jewellery when you bathe, swim in the sea or a pool or visit a sauna, particularly if you are wearing strung pearls as the string can weaken and stretch when wet and become more prone to breaking suddenly.
Keep titanium jewellery bright by washing in warm soapy water and drying with tissue.
